[Israelis kill again in the Gaza Strip today, a child dies of earlier injuries and now an invisible killer is discovered: toxic weapons.tit]

Palestinian medical sources announced Tuesday afternoon that Israeli forces killed a member of the armed resistance during this morning?s air attack on the northern Gaza Strip.



Twenty-eight year old Ahmed Shahin arrived from Beit Hanoun to Kamal Adwan Hospital this morning. He was among the five injured after Israeli forces fired missiles from a war plane into a car, east of Beit Hanoun in the northern Strip. Shahin is said to have been a member of the Al Aqsa Brigades, affiliated with the Fateh party.



And yet another death was reported today. Palestinian medical sources announced that Israeli forces killed child Walid Mahmoud Al Zenati after he died from injuries sustained during an Israeli bombing attack on 6 July, west of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.



And now it seems another killer is on the loose. The Palestinian Ministry of Health revealed that the Israelis recently used a new kind of explosive which does not cause immediate injuries, but contains radioactive toxic materials, causing long-term damage.



In a special report compiled in accordance with the Certificate of Surgical Specialists in Hospitals, the Ministry of Health explained, that all Palestinians injured during the latest wave of Israeli attacks were in large part due to fragments from new missiles which lead to amputation as entire limbs become infected due to an internal tissue breakdown.



The latest spate of attacks beginning 21 June, coined ?Summer Rain? by the Israelis, injured 249 Palestinians.

In the report, the Ministry of Health states that six Palestinians arrived at the hospital torn to pieces, while another 37 died from missile fragments. Another two people who the Israelis killed had special needs, one of them was mute and the other had mental retardation.



The Ministry report indicated that most of the injuries which reached the hospital and underwent surgery as a result of the severe explosions led to amputation. The report describes a type of internal combustion which leads to incurable internal infection, causing bleeding and burns, leaving no choice but to amputate. Some of those who have died were infected in the internal organs such as the spleen. The Ministry stated that due to these toxic injuries, 66 percent of the Palestinians who arrived at the hospital after an Israeli attack over that past two weeks, will never recover.



The Ministry of Health calls upon the international community and human rights institutions to send a medical commission to examine the injured and to help determine the exact nature of the toxic Israeli missile fragments now inside the bodies of 37 dead Palestinians. The Ministry demands that the Israeli government stop using internationally banned weapons against civilians an unarmed civilians in their homes and gathering places.
